Luden’s has an unique history. They have been making lozenges for over a hundred years, and the company was founded in 1879. For years, Luden’s was considered a staple to a more and more aging population. As a multi-year collaboration, KBS has been helping Luden’s reshape their perception in the market, while offering some unique and fun experiences to their potential customers. With that spirit in mind, Luden’s has been expanding their footprint to music festivals and concert series through the US.

As part of their “tame the tickle” campaign, we built a competitive “mechanical bull” for the mouth. Two players go head-to-head, seeing who can hold onto a human-sized uvula in a giant mouth the longest. Each uvula contained an industrial size offset motor, as well as a manual pulley system docents controlled, for optimal challenge and laugh-factor.

In progress, first installation.
